Spicy Cayenne Shrimp Tacos
Ingredients:
For the shrimp:
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 teaspoon Cayenne Puree
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the slaw:
- 2 cups shredded cabbage or coleslaw mix
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
For assembling:
- 8 small flour or corn tortillas
- Avocado slices, for garnish
- Fresh cilantro leaves, for garnish
- Lime wedges, for serving
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, combine the shrimp, Cayenne Puree, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss until the shrimp are evenly coated. Let them marinate for about 15-20 minutes.
2. While the shrimp are marinating, prepare the slaw. In another bowl, combine the shredded cabbage or coleslaw mix, mayonnaise, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Toss until well combined. Set aside.
3. Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Add the marinated shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they are pink and opaque.
4. Warm the tortillas in a separate skillet or microwave.
5. To assemble the tacos, place some of the slaw mixture onto each tortilla. Top with the cooked Cayenne Puree shrimp.
6. Garnish the tacos with avocado slices and fresh cilantro leaves.
