Cayenne Ramen Noodles
Ingredients:
- 2 packs of ramen noodles
- 4 cups of water
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon of minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon of Louisiana Pepper Exchange Cayenne Pepper Puree (adjust to taste)
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 2 boiled eggs, halved (optional)
- 1 cup of sliced mushrooms (optional)
- 1 cup of spinach leaves (optional)
Instructions:
1. In a pot, bring the water to a boil. Add the ramen noodles and cook according to package instructions until they are tender, usually about 3-4 minutes. Drain and set aside.
2. In the same pot, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and ground ginger, and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Stir in the soy sauce and Louisiana Pepper Exchange Cayenne Pepper Puree. Adjust the amount of Louisiana Pepper Exchange Cayenne Pepper Puree based on your preferred level of spiciness.
4. Add the cooked ramen noodles back into the pot and toss until they are evenly coated with the sauce.
5. If using, add in the sliced mushrooms and spinach leaves. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
6. Divide the cayenne ramen noodles into bowls. Top with sliced green onions and boiled eggs, if desired.
7. Serve hot and enjoy your spicy cayenne ramen noodles!
