Fresh Jalapeño Salsa
Ingredients:

- 3-4 teaspoons Louisiana Pepper Exchange Jalapeño Puree
- 2 large tomatoes, diced
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
- Juice of 1 lime
- No salt needed! (puree has salt in it!)

Instructions:

1. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the Jalapeño Puree, diced tomatoes, chopped onion, minced garlic, and chopped cilantro.

2. Squeeze the lime juice over the salsa mixture.

3. Stir all the ingredients together until well combined.

4. Taste the salsa and season according to your preference.

5. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer the salsa to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

6. After chilling, give the salsa a final stir and taste for seasoning. Add more salt or lime juice if needed.

7. Serve the fresh Jalapeño Salsa with tortilla chips, tacos, quesadillas, grilled meats, or any of your favorite Mexican dishes.
