Tropical Habanero Chicken Bowl

Juicy grilled chicken meets sweet heat and fresh island vibes in this colorful bowl packed with flavor.
Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs

3 tbsp Louisiana Pepper Exchange Tropical Habanero Sauce, plus more for drizzling

1 tbsp olive oil

1/2 tsp garlic powder

Salt & pepper to taste

1 cup cooked rice (white, brown, or coconut rice)

1/2 cup black beans (optional)

1/2 cup diced mango or pineapple

1/4 cup sliced red cabbage (optional)

1/4 avocado, sliced (optional)

Lime wedges for serving

Chopped cilantro or green onion for garnish
Instructions

Marinate the Chicken:
In a bowl or zip-top bag, toss chicken with Tropical Habanero Sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Marinate for at least 20 minutes (or up to 4 hours for more flavor). -
Cook the Chicken:
Grill, pan-sear, or bake chicken until fully cooked (internal temp 165°F). Let rest, then slice. -
Build the Bowl:
Start with a base of rice, then layer on black beans, cabbage, mango or pineapple, avocado, and sliced chicken. -
Finish & Serve:
Drizzle with more Tropical Habanero Sauce, squeeze a little lime over the top, and garnish with fresh herbs if using.
Serve With:
Tortilla chips, a chilled agua fresca, or a scoop of coconut yogurt on the side to balance the heat.
