Piri Piri Crispy Pizza

A thin, crispy pizza with a spicy kick—Piri Piri sauce takes this from basic to bold in every bite.
Ingredients

1 thin pizza crust (store-bought or homemade flatbread)

2–3 tbsp Louisiana Pepper Exchange Piri Piri Sauce, plus more for drizzling

1/3 cup pizza sauce or crushed tomatoes

1 cup shredded mozzarella or provolone

1/4 red onion, thinly sliced

1/2 cup cooked chicken or sausage (optional)

Optional toppings: arugula, fresh basil, or a drizzle of honey
Instructions

Preheat Oven:
Preheat oven to 450°F (or follow instructions for your pizza crust). Place a baking sheet or pizza stone inside to heat up for extra crispiness. -
Assemble the Pizza:
Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on the crust, then drizzle or dot with Piri Piri Sauce. Add shredded cheese, red onion, and your protein of choice (if using). -
Bake:
Place pizza directly on the hot baking sheet or stone. Bake for 8–10 minutes or until the crust is crispy and cheese is bubbling and golden. -
Finish & Serve:
Top with arugula or basil if desired. Add a final drizzle of Piri Piri Sauce (or a touch of honey for a sweet-heat contrast).
